Optical Brightener OB-1 (C.I .393) Introduction: OB-1 is a stilbene benzoxazole class optical brightener suitable for many kinds of plastic materials under high temperature process. Structural Formula: Details : CAS No: 1533-45-5 Appearance: bright yellow crystals powder Assay: 98.5%Min Melting point: 355-360ÂșC Properties: OB-1 imparts very good heat resistance because of high melting point and strong stability. Because this product`s hydrophobic nature, it has good light fastness. it also has good light-resistance and resistance to bleaching of chloride, can impart excellent effect used in polyester fiber . its strong fluorescence makes it not only can improve substrates whiteness but also brightness, it can be used as disperse dyes in the chemical fiber, can be used like oil dissolving coloring agent in the plastics. Applications: OB-1 is Suitable for whitening chemical fibers, such as the polyester fiber, nylon fiber, polypropylene fiber and so on; suitable for whitening and brightening PP, hard PVC, ABS, EVA, polystyrene, polycarbonate, etc, suitable to be added into the conventional polymerization of polyester and nylon fiber, especially suitable for whitening the plastics of high temperature compaction. Method of usage: The recommended loading concentrations for plastic and polyester fiber is 0.01 % to 0.05% depending on substrate, processing conditions, and long-term stability requirements. Please Noted: above recommended loading can be a reference. Exact loading must be determined by compositions of the specific polymer system Packing: Packaged in complex paper bags or fiber drums, 25kg each.
